Notes from Mrs. Caso

Pay attention to whether they say "inequality in one variable" or "inequality in two variables". If it's in one variable, it's graphed on a number line. If it's in two variables, it's graphed on a coordinate plane.

 

Also, don't forget that you need to flip the sign when you multiply or divide by a negative number when solving an inequality. That includes solving with absolute-value inequalities!
