Making a note card
with some of the basic properties of exponents is a good way to
learn the properties. Use the note card as a bookmarker in your text
book and refer to it as needed when doing your homework. Here's an
example of what the card might look like

The practice OGT test will be counted as an extra credit grade. For example, if you get a 75% on the test, you will get 7.5 point out of 10 for extra credit. This way doing poorly won't hurt your grade, but doing well can help.
