Our completed study
seemed to have shown a few weaknesses. First off, students who did
not own a cell phone (13 of them) threw our sample number down.
Another weakness is students who attend Polaris full time not being
able to complete the survey. Honesty might have played a bit of a
role as well. If the student did not answer honestly, for what ever
reason, it could have skewed a proportion slightly throwing off our
study somewhat. One more weakness our study had was the guarantee of
getting the surveys back from students who chose not to fill them
out. (115 of 160 surveys came back.)
To extrapolate, we
would survey other close by cities, such as Olmsted Falls, Bay
Village, Westlake, Avon Lake, etc... because of the income. We think
other suburbs of the US could fit this study, but where there are
different income ranges this study would not fit as well.
