Based on the descriptive statistics given by the Minitab data, we can look at the basic differences between male and female cell phone usage. On average, males use 254.1 minutes per month, compared to females who use 360.4 minutes per month. This is a difference of 106.3 minutes. The difference between male and female text messaging is 2,240 text messages per month. Based on our descriptive statistics alone, we can assume females are using their cell phones more than males in our study.
