This chapter is all about graphing. I recommend that you bring a calculator, graph paper and a ruler to class every day. Also, we will conclude the chapter with a project instead of a test. The project will be worth the same point value as a test.

  • 4.2 - We've completed the first quarter of Algebra 1. How do you feel about algebra now? What are you anticipating for next quarter?
  • 4.3 - Where do you usually see graphs? Who usually made them? Why were they made (What was their purpose)?
  • 4.8 - Why is y = mx + b called the slope-intercept form of a linear equation? {BONUS: What is the commonly accepted origin for the m in y = mx + b?}
