Assignment 4.4 - Correlations and their Coefficients

Use the applet at Guessing Correlations to explore the properties of Pearson's correlation coefficient.

1. Each of the 4 plots has the same set of possible correlation coefficients. Your task is to match the correct graph with each coefficient value.
2. You must get a run of 20 or more correct.
3. When you get a high score, enter your name Last Name, First Name
4. Make sure that Mrs. Sumser or Mr. Linden sees your high score.
5. Starting at 60 points, you will receive 1 extra credit point for every 10 points you earn up to a maximum of 5 bonus points at scores over 100.
