The Problem
In many other countries, prostitution and marijuana are legal, but not, in large part, in the United States. Recently, laws have been enacted that seem to be moving towards legalizing both vices. Possession of less than an ounce of pot is a misdemeanor in some US States now, and Nevada has legal brothels. Both "victimless crimes" have been debated extensively, but I wondered which one was more popular in public opinion. I also wondered if the population of people who only supported one or the other was significant, or if the argument could be made that those who support legalizing recreational marijuana use are also in favor of legalizing prostitution.
