Conclusion

We failed to reject the null hypothesis at the .05 level of significance
since our p-value of 0.846 is greater than alpha. Therefore, we have
insufficient evidence to suggest that the true proportion of students who
plan to stay living in Ohio within ten years of graduating high school is
greater than the true proportion of students who plan to move out of state.
Even though our 1-Prop Z Test shows this to be true, we believe that our
sample was not large enough to accurately portray the population of students
at North Olmsted High School. Furthermore, many students’ plans will change
over time, thus the results of this study could vary from year to year.
Thus, we would recommend further study on this subject to find the more
accurate conclusion
