From the test result the p value; 0.030; was lower than the alpha; 0.50, so I had to reject the Ho. The result was that there was enough evidence to say that the true average GPA of Asian Students was indeed higher than the true average GPA of Caucasian students at North Olmsted High School. We could conclude this at both the .1 and .05 levels of significance, however at the .01 level of significance we would fail to reject the Ho. The reason behind this result from my research might be due to many things. Some suggest that the reason behind it is genetics; others say that it is cultural.
