Since our p-value is .544 we fail to reject the p-value because it is greater than the .05 level of significance. Therefore we have insufficient evidence to say there is an association between drinking and smoking.
In conclusion, we can say that there is no association between drinking and smoking. We both predicted that there would be a connection between the two habits.
The results we received states that there is no association, but it is inaccurate to only go with those numbers since we did only obtain 29 surveys. 29 surveys does not say very much about a study.
