Weaknesses: If we had a larger sample size, there could have been a better representation of the school. Also, some confounding variables could be grade level, gender, or whether the person watches sports on TV at all.
Extrapolate: We could extrapolate this into a variety of different sports, not just golf and NASCAR. We could have extrapolated into other schools and get the opinion of other teens. By expanding the sample we would be able to get a better idea of how people view sports on TV, and not just golf and NASCAR.
Suggestions: We could have used stratified samples of grade level and gender to eliminate any form of age or gender bias. From those samples and tests we would be able to further our study and see if the opinions differed between grade levels, and male vs. female.
