CONCLUSION: To analyze our data that we collected,
we decided to run a 2 sample proportion test. However since we were
comparing middle school teacher s versus high school teachers, as
well as middle school students versus high school students, we had
to perform the test two seperate times. Through this test at a
.05 level of significance, we found that there is not a significant
difference between the proportion of middle school teachers and high
school teachers as well as between middle school students and high
school students. However since our assumptions, n(hypothesized
value)>or equal to 10 and n(1-hypothesized value)> or equal to ten,
were not met, our conclusions are not valid, but would have been
valid with met assumptions. We conducted two more tests after
that to determine whether there was a difference between high school
teachers and high school students as well as middle school teachers
adn middle school students. In both cases, the results were that
there was a p-value of 0.000 which indicated that there was a
significant difference between the teachers who use stickers and the
students who like them. However, once again the assumptions
weren't met so the conclusion is not valid.
