Conclusion
|
|
Even though I was not looking at
male and female diffrence for this study, there was the same
number of males and females who said "yes" to being in any
student actvities, which was 12, and most of them have had
absences from school of 3 or over 5. 19 students, male and
female have answered "no" to not being in any student activites.
Basically most of them have had many absences of over 5. There
was one outlier however. A male student said he was absent 26
times. That changed up the data a bit. Therefore we failed to
reject the null hypothesis at a .05 level of signigicance
because the p-value .869 is greater than alpha. So, we have
insufficient evidence to say that there is a useful linear
relationship between the number of activites and number of days
absent.
