There were many biases and extraneous factors in the study. One bias was nonresponse bias. Many of the samples could not be reached due to Polaris, pseop, and students who are just no longer enrolled in North Olmsted High School. Another bias was response bias. Many of the surveys that were sent out were either answered incorrectly, answered blank, or just not returned.

I can not extrapolate my research to a larger population because the results will probably be similar. There are not many factors that affect North Olmsted High School students and not other students in northeastern Ohio. The demographics of North Olmsted are the same as the demographics of other cities in northeastern Ohio. The only factor that could have an affect on only North Olmsted High School students is if the teachers of North Olmsted have a different method of teaching than other teachers from different schools would have. It could relate to the grade point averages of the students.

To further my work in my topic, I could have obtained a larger sample of students. I could have increased it from 100 students to 300 students. There are many response bias’s that have affected my study so with a larger sample, I will have more to study.
