Conclusion
We can reject the null hypothesis at any level of significance because the p-value of 0.0 is less than any alpha value. Therefore, we have sufficient evidence to say that the true proportion of females who go through the self-checkout line at ten minute intervals is greater than the true proportion of males who go through the self-checkout line at ten minute intervals. In relation to our original statement of the problem, the results of our study did match our expectations. We expected that the true proportion of females who go through the self-checkout line would be greater than the true proportion of males per ten minute interval. The ten minute intervals covered the times from 4:30 p.m. to 6:10 p.m.
