From our study we conclude that the flavor proportions of grape,
peach, strawberry, raspberry and orange are all different through the
use of a chi-squared goodness of fit test. We then performed two
more tests comparing the difference in proportions between grape and
strawberry and then strawberry and peach. We can reject the null
hypothesis in the first test at any reasonable level of significance
since the p-value was 0. Therefore we have sufficient evidence
to say that the true proportion of grape fruit snacks is significantly
different than the true proportion of strawberry fruit snacks.
In the second test, we failed to reject the null hypothesis at any
reasonable level of significance since the p-value was about 0.9.
Therefore we have insufficient evidence to say that the true
proportion of strawberry fruit snacks is significantly different from
the true proportion of peach fruit snacks.
