Do More Males or Females Visit

 Starbucks?
Weaknesses of Study:

The study itself was conducted on a small scale series of multiple samples to obtain data to determine whether or not more males or more females visited Starbucks. Because of the alotted time, the data had to be collected during small intervals (fifteen minutes each) to obtain a sufficient number of samples. Also, the data wasn't collected consecutively day after day and this potentially may have altered some of the sample sizes since some days of the week were busier than others.

Extrapolation?

I would not extrapolate the data because it is based on such a small scale of samples that variation is likely among other samples and may not thoroughly represent other Starbucks locations. However it may be possible to accurately extrapolate the data to other times of the day at this particular Starbucks, since variation in the gender of who visits Starbucks hour to hour is probably less variable.  Perhaps if the data was collected in larger intervals, maybe one hour intervals instead if fifteen minutes ones, then it could be a better representation of this location and other locations in the area as a whole.

Continuation of the Study?
As for a continuation of the study, further observation at the Starbucks can be conducted in larger intervals to allow for larger sample sizes and less variability sample to sample. Even conducting the study at other locations in the area could yield information about the general area instead of the specific Starbucks in North Olmsted. If the study were to be conducted at several other locations, then a more general conclusion can be drawn from the area and extrapolated beyond the scope of my own study.
