Conclusion: We fail to reject the null hypothesis at any reasonable level of significance because our p-value is greater than the alpha level. Therefore, there is not sufficient evidence to say that the true mean of average student watch time of the school video announcements at NOHS is greater than 3 minutes. We were hoping that the average time would be the whole announcements video, but we were obviously incorrect in saying that. The large p-value shows that our assumption was not close to the hypothesised value of 3 minutes of watch time.
