Conclusion

Conclusion: I used a t-test to see if the number of hours females spend on social media is greater than the number of hours men spend on social media. I failed to reject the null hypothesis at the 0.05 level of significance since the p-value is less than α. Therefore, there is not sufficient evidence to say the number of hours females use social media is greater than the number of  hours males use social media at North Olmsted High School. The results may change when tested on a larger and more diverse sample. When researching the background of my study, most of the studies I found concluded that females spend more time on social media than men, but my results beg to differ.
