Conclusion of the Study

I wanted to see if North Olmsted High School students had a gender gap in weekly incomes. To test and receive results for this, I sent out surveys asking how much money he or she brings home per week if that person has a job. I also asked the gender of the person doing the survey because that would be necessary to find out if there is a gender gap. I performed a 2-Sample T-Test and came up with a p-value of 0.691. Therefore, I cannot reject the null hypothesis at any reasonable level of significance because the p-value was so high. In conclusion, I have insufficient evidence to say that the true mean weekly incomes of teenage males is greater than the true mean weekly incomes of teenage females.
