Some weaknesses in our study include non-response bias and minimal amount of response bias.  Non-response bias in our survey consisted of those who did not return or fill out our survey.  We had a few surveys that the person did not fill out their grade so therefore we could not distinguish between teacher and students for blocking purposes.  Due to the fact that they did not completely fill out the survey we had to include them in the non-response category.  Out of those who responded there was very little chance for response bias.  This is because people have no motive to falsely answer the survey about their favorite pizza topping.  There are not really any confounding variables in our study.  There is a slight extraneous factor that could have an effect on a person’s response to our survey.  Smoking would be an extraneous factor because it would effect there taste of food and if they decided to quit smoking their taste might change.

With the information we collected from our sample through the survey we could extrapolate this data and use it to interpret information about other North Eastern Ohio suburban high schools.  We had decided that the population of North Olmsted High School is much like that of the other surrounding high schools in the area.  We figured that this information would be fairly similar because in the Cleveland area there are many of the same type of pizza places, which would result in people having the same pizza topping preference.

A study could be done to further our topic by comparing the proportion of all pizza toppings.  This study could be
done between teachers and students or it could be done by different age groups.  A chi-squared test could be used to look for homogeneity between the different categories.  Another study could be done using the people whose favorite topping was pepperoni.   We could take these people and ask them what company produces the best pepperoni pizza.  We could use proportion test to test what pizza company is better then another.
