After completing my study and reviewing the results of my surveys, I have concluded that the proportion of males who have been in a car accident is not greater then the proportion of females who have been in a car accident. Although the proportion of males was greater then females in my study, it was not large enough to reject my p-value of .151 at the .05 level of significance. From this I can conclude that the proportion of males who have been in a car accident does not exceed the proportion of females who have been in a car accident.
