Our study had a few flaws and weaknesses. First of all, we believe that we had trouble getting honest data from people. We had people with 4.3 GPA that claimed they have never studied a minute. We have a difficult time believing that. Some of the GPA discrepancy could have been due to dishonesty or poor approximation on behalf of the students.

I think that the results we did get could be extrapolated to any middle class town in America. The results would probably remain consistent, provided that the data was collected by simple random sample and with honest output. I would like to see a more in depth study done in cities across Cuyahoga County that are able to get valid GPA’s to calculate who is actually higher as far as GPA is concerned: Musicians or Athletes.
