conclusion
In the end, we failed to reject our null hypothesis at a 0.05 level of significance since our p-value of .649 was greater than alpha. Therefore our data suggests we were not able to collect enough evidence to say that police officers are more likely to give a male driver a traffic violation over a female driver. We are not very satisfied with what we have come up with because its inconclusive due to the fact that many of the surveys we got back were unlicensed drivers. So our conclusion is not as exact as it would be if we had a population with more licensed drivers.
