the study

For our project we chose to survey a random sample of juniors and seniors because we felt that they would more likely have their license. We did this by obtaining a list of all the juniors and seniors at North Olmsted High School and then using Minitab to randomly select 100 juniors and 100 seniors. Our population of interest is the juniors and seniors of North Olmsted High School who have their drivers license and possibly have been pulled over or received a citation. We chose this because it is the easiest area to survey and it gives us a response on how the North Olmsted Police are and not in different areas. On our survey we asked the students age, sex, and if they had their drivers license. If they did have their drivers license then they had to answer two more questions which asked how many times they got pulled over and how many times they actually received a citation. Of the 200 surveys we sent out we got about 134 of them back.
