Weaknesses:
There are several weaknesses throughout the study. One of the main weaknesses is the possibility of response biases. Since i am asking for the G.P.A's of students they may be uncomfortable with their real G.P.A so could possibly give a false one. Another weakness is that not everyone that was randomly selected returned a completed survey
Extrapolation:
I cannot extrapolate the study because some schools may hold academically higher standards which would alter results. Also, this study cannot be extrapolated because certain regions may be too poor to buy video game systems and have generally weaker educational systems.
Improvement of Study:
To improve the data, I could have sent out surveys to a larger sample group. This would give me more data to work with. Also, another thing that coud have improved to study is stratifying the data by grades. This will lead to more informative results.
