Conclusion
We fail to reject the null hypothesis at the
.05 level of significance because the p-value is > α. Therefore,
there is not sufficient evidence to say that the true proportion of
sophomore students at North Olmsted High School who drink one or
more cups of coffee on a school day is less than .20. This test was
invalid because the sample is not normal. In the end we cannot say
that less than 20 percent of the sophomore class at North Olmsted
High School drinks one or more cups of coffee on a school day.
