Discussion
Some weaknesses in my study could be
nonresponse bias; the applicants could chose to not reply at all or
not tell the truth on the survey. They could also only drink coffee
on a couple days a week and not the whole week but still say they
drink coffee daily. Some confounding variables could be the weather,
if it is hot or cold out in the morning. Another confounding
variable could be if they are in a sport after school which could
lead them to be more tired and drink more coffee.
I could extrapolate my results to the whole
school because teens generally act the same and enjoy the same
things. If I continued my research I would have my sample come from
the sophomore class and find out if females drink more coffee then
males, and eventually sampling from the whole school.
