Conclusion

When our study came to a close, we found that there wasn’t a notable statistical difference in the number of social media accounts per grade. There are a few notable differences, such as that seniors appear to have a larger proportion of people who have 0-2 accounts, sophomores appear to have a larger proportion of those who have 3-5 social media accounts. These differences can be attributed to the small size of the sample due to non-response bias. We found that there wasn’t a notable statistical difference by running a chi squared t-test, which produced a p-value of .705. Since the p-value is greater than Alpha of .05, we fail to reject the null hypothesis. Therefore there isn't a difference in the number of social media accounts per person per grade. Even so, these results are inaccurate since four cells of the chi squared test were under five.
