After gathering a random sample of 45 students from the list of student athletes we recieved from Mrs. Caso and conducting a chi-squared goodness of fit test, we can reject the null that there is an even distribution of preferred sports apparel since our p-value of 0 is less than our alpha of 0.05. Therefore, we have sufficient evidence to conclude that there is not an even distribution of student athletes who prefer Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour at North Olmsted High School.
