We failed to reject our null hypothesis at the 0.05 level of significance since our p-value was greater than α. Therefore, there is insufficient evidence to suggest that the true proportion of males who prefer chocolate topping on their ice cream is less than the true proportion of females who prefer chocolate topping on their ice cream.
