Our conclusion is that based off the data we collected and plugged into a chi-squared test that there is a relationship between gender and genre when decided genres. We ran the test with our null being no association and the alternative being an association, and the alpha level we chose was .05. Based off the fact that our p-value was .012 we could reject our null, and show that there is an association. We also concluded that females in North Olmsted High School prefer comedy and horror, and the males in North Olmsted High School prefer comedy.
