Conclusion

We fail to reject our null hypothesis at the 0.05 level of significance because our p-value of 0.96 is substantially greater than alpha. Therefore, we do not have sufficient evidence to state that there is a difference among GPA of blondes in opposed to non-blondes. The phrase “dumb blonde” has no statistically proven meaning behind it because the intelligence level of blondes as compared to non-blondes is relatively the same. Our study resulting in such a high p-value goes to show how there is no relationship between the two variables of hair color and intelligence.
