GPA vs Hair Color
Is there a difference between those with blonde hair and other colors?
We have conducted this study to test the relationship between hair color and GPA by sending out 100 surveys to students at NOHS. The students were randomly selected, from grades 9-12. The common phrase of “dumb blonde’s” is used so often that we decided to run a study to see if that phrase was made for a reason. However, upon analyzing our results, our study proved that there is actually no relationship between hair color, blonde vs not blonde, and their average GPA. We went on to search on Google to view previous recent studies done testing the same variables through the search engine. We used “recent studies testing hair color and intelligence” and “hair color vs gpa”, etc. In a study done by students at a university, they tested 54 participants from the university who were between the ages of 18 and 23. web.mnstate.edu.
Stereotypes are a pervasive influence in the judgments and evaluations made about people. The purpose of the present study was to examine whether stereotypes regarding hair color would override information that affects people when they’re being evaluated. The results did not indicate that the interaction had a conclusion proving any correlation.
Recent studies done testing the relationship between intelligence and hair color have proven that there is no correlation between these two variables. Scientists have known for years that traits such as eye color and hair color are determined by specific genes encoded in each human cell. In a way, the ‘nature’ theory takes things a step further to say that more abstract traits, including intelligence, personality, aggression, and sexual orientation, are also encoded in an individual's DNA. www.macalester.edu. However, there is no relationship between hair color and intelligence/gpa. A persons color of hair does not affect there learning or knowledge. If it did they're would be a big difference in my results, but there is not. That is why hair color has no effect on GPA.

Hair color, although appearing to be nothing but a physical trait, remains a solid basis for stereotyping, with no sufficient evidence showing any correlation with intelligence.
