Conclusion: We reject the null hypothesis at the 0.05 level of significance because the p-value is < α. Therefore, there is sufficient evidence to say that there is a correlation between time spent on social media and cumulative GPA for North Olmsted High School students. Therefore, since we rejected the null hypothesis, we have determined that for our school there is a relationship between the variables and this can also be shown by the slight correlation and r-value of the graph. So students that spend less time on social media tend to have slightly higher grades.
